Breast ultrasound

Breast ultrasound (US) is a safe, non-invasive imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to visualize breast tissue. It is commonly used to evaluate lumps, cysts, and other abnormalities, helping in early detection of breast diseases without exposure to radiation.

Breast lump evaluation

Helps differentiate between solid tumors and fluid-filled cysts in breast tissue.

Axillary lymph node ultrasound

Examines lymph nodes under the arm to detect signs of infection or cancer spread.

Guided biopsy

Ultrasound-guided core biopsy allows precise sampling of suspicious breast lesions for histopathological analysis.

Monitoring benign breast conditions

Used to follow up on benign cysts or fibroadenomas to monitor for changes over time.

Assessment of implant integrity

Evaluates breast implants for rupture or other complications.

Detection of inflammatory breast disease

Identifies abscesses, mastitis, and other inflammatory processes in breast tissue.

Screening in dense breast tissue

Provides additional imaging in women with dense breasts where mammography may be less sensitive.
