Electrocauterization

Electrocauterization is performed using a device that generates high temperature through electric current. This heat is used for coagulation (clotting) or vaporization (destruction) of tissue, achieving desired effects such as stopping bleeding, removing growths, or improving the skin's condition.

Procedure Information

Is it painful? Uncomfortable but tolerable. Local anesthetic is always applied.
Is there any recovery time? Redness followed by scabs that fall off within 5–7 days.
How many treatments are needed? Depending on the number of lesions, usually 1–2 treatments.
How long does the procedure last? Approximately 40 minutes.
When are results visible? Immediately.
